We work with a broad range of technical textiles, coated fabrics and foils — each selected for the specific demands of industrial applications.
Material selection is as important as construction quality. The right fabric for an outdoor PVC tarp is entirely different from what you need for a VCI automotive packaging bag. We have 30 years of experience selecting and working with industrial technical materials and can advise on the best choice for your application.
The materials listed below represent our core stock — we can also source and work with other technical materials on request.
The workhorse of heavy industrial sewing. PVC Kortexin combines a strong polyester woven base with PVC coating on both sides for excellent weather resistance, abrasion resistance and dimensional stability. Available in multiple weights and colours. Primary use: outdoor tarps, construction covers, heavy industrial covers.
Smooth, flexible PVC foil in various thicknesses for applications requiring a clean, impermeable surface. Suitable for welding (hot-wedge, hot-air or bar welding) as well as sewing. Used in covers requiring waterproofing, chemical resistance or easy cleaning.
Multi-layer laminated foil combining the strength of a fabric backing with the impermeability of a foil outer layer. Offers good puncture resistance, flexibility and weatherproofing. Used for covers, tarps and bags where a combination of strength and moisture barrier performance is needed.
Non-woven fabrics are used where a fabric-like feel combined with specific functional properties — breathability, filtration, or cushioning — is required. Commonly used in protective covers for sensitive components and in filtration bag applications.
Tyvek by DuPont is a unique material made from high-density polyethylene fibres — it is simultaneously strong, lightweight, tearresistant and breathable. Used extensively in our VCI packaging for the automotive industry. Tyvek allows VCI compounds to function effectively while protecting metal parts from moisture and dust.
Evolon is a high-performance microfilament fabric made from 70% polyester and 30% polyamide. It combines very fine fibre structure with good mechanical strength. Used in premium protective packaging and covers where a soft, non-scratching surface in contact with the protected component is required.
Where regulations or safety requirements demand it, we use certified fire-resistant textile materials for tarps and covers. Suitable for construction sites, industrial facilities and energy sector applications where fire safety standards must be met. Available in PVC and woven fabric variants.
For applications requiring thermal protection, we produce covers with TERCIA 500 insulation material. These are used to protect temperature-sensitive components from extreme cold or heat during transport and outdoor storage. Often combined with an outer PVC or foil layer for weather protection.
TRIGY is a technical industrial fabric with specific mechanical and protective properties used in selected specialist applications. Contact us for more information on applications where TRIGY material is recommended.
Clear PVC foil for applications where visibility through the cover is required — inspection windows in covers, transparent side panels in enclosures, or full transparent covers for products on display. Can be welded or sewn and combined with opaque PVC sections in composite products.
Not sure which material is right for your application? This quick guide points you in the right direction.
For outdoor exposure — weather, UV, wind and abrasion — choose PVC Kortexin for the best durability. Laminated foil is an alternative for lighter-duty applications. Where fire safety is required, use fire-resistant certified materials.
For VCI corrosion-inhibiting packaging, Tyvek is the preferred material as it allows VCI vapours to distribute evenly while protecting from moisture and dust. Evolon is used for premium packaging where surface protection of the part is also important.
Filtration bags are typically produced in non-woven textiles selected for the particle size to be filtered. For coarser filtration in gravel pits or concrete plants, woven fabrics may be appropriate. Material selection depends on particle size, temperature and chemical environment.
For temperature-sensitive applications, TERCIA 500 insulation material is incorporated into a multi-layer cover construction. An outer PVC or foil layer provides weatherproofing while the TERCIA 500 core provides thermal insulation.
Describe your application and we will recommend the most appropriate material and construction.
